NAD+ 1000 mg

Typical daily range: 50–100 mg once daily subcutaneously (gradual titration from lower doses).

  • Reconstitute: Add 3.0 mL bacteriostatic water → 333.3 mg/mL concentration.
  • Typical daily range: 50–100 mg once daily subcutaneously (gradual titration from lower doses).
  • Easy measuring: At 333.3 mg/mL, 1 unit = 0.01 mL = 3.33 mg on a U‑100 insulin syringe.
  • Storage: Lyophilized: freeze at −20 °C (−4 °F); after reconstitution, refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35.6–46.4 °F) for up to 14 days; protect from light and avoid freeze–thaw cycles.

How it works

Despite being searched and marketed as "NAD+ peptide," NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is not a peptide at all — it contains no amino-acid chain. It is a small nucleotide-derived coenzyme, built from a vitamin-B3-related nicotinamide group, adenine, and sugar-phosphate units, present in every cell in the body.[1]

It exists in oxidized (NAD+) and reduced (NADH) forms that shuttle electrons between metabolic reactions. The "peptide" label mainly reflects wellness-clinic marketing conventions that group it alongside actual peptide therapies, not any chemical similarity to one.

Benefits & side effects

Human trials of oral NR have shown it is bioavailable and raises NAD+ metabolites, and one randomized trial found NMN improved a measure of muscle insulin sensitivity in prediabetic women.[8] Results for symptom-level outcomes — fatigue, cognition, physical function — are mixed across studies, and a rise in a biomarker does not automatically translate into a proven clinical benefit.

Evidence for IV or injectable NAD+ addressing wellness, anti-aging, cognitive, or addiction-recovery claims is essentially absent at the level of controlled clinical trials; those specific claims currently rest on mechanistic plausibility and marketing rather than trial data.
