TB-500 10 mg

Typical daily range: 500–1000 mcg once daily (gradual titration recommended).

  • Reconstitute: Add 3.0 mL bacteriostatic water → ~3.33 mg/mL concentration.
  • Typical daily range: 500–1000 mcg once daily (gradual titration recommended).
  • Easy measuring: At 3.33 mg/mL, 1 unit = 0.01 mL ≈ 33.3 mcg on a U‑100 insulin syringe.
  • Storage: Lyophilized: store at −20 °C (−4 °F); after reconstitution, refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35.6–46.4 °F); do not freeze reconstituted solution.

How it works

TB-500 is commonly described as a synthetic peptide related to thymosin beta-4, a naturally occurring 43-amino-acid actin-binding protein found throughout the body and studied for roles in cell movement, wound repair, and tissue remodeling.[1] "TB-500" itself is not a standardized, FDA-recognized drug name — it is an informal, unregulated label, so products sold under it can vary in identity and quality even when marketed similarly.

TB-500 has no history as an approved drug at any point. It is sold exclusively as an unapproved research chemical, and most of what is known about its proposed biology comes from research on thymosin beta-4 itself rather than on TB-500-specific human trials.

Benefits & side effects

Direct TB-500 evidence is thin. Most supporting data comes from thymosin beta-4 research: animal wound-healing studies reported accelerated repair, and separate translational work examined thymosin beta-4's role in cardiac cell migration and survival after injury.[4] Registered human trials of thymosin beta-4-related investigational products exist for a small number of indications, such as ocular surface conditions, but these involve specific formulations that are not necessarily equivalent to TB-500 products sold online.[5]

Claims about faster tendon or ligament recovery, reduced inflammation, or "Wolverine-like" healing rely on extrapolating from this preclinical and indirect human evidence rather than on controlled trials of TB-500 itself, and should be treated as unproven hypotheses rather than established outcomes.
